MailChimp is the most popular and easy to use email marketing software. When you’re running your own CRM if you’re not also using email marketing you’re missing out. This ‘How To’ looks at how to integrate your Jetpack CRM with MailChimp, and some reasons why you should be doing so.
So, you’ve got your Jetpack CRM setup and are adding leads and customers. You’re building your business but you need a way to use email marketing solutions. Using something like MailChimp lets you send communications to your customers and track who opens, clicks and purchased based on what you send them.
It’s the perfect companion and the most popular email marketing platform.
Step 1: Download and Install the MailChimp Jetpack extension
You can download the extension from here. Once you’ve installed and activated the extension you’re ready to set it up and start sending your new Leads and Customers to your MailChimp email list.
Step 2: Enter your MailChimp API key into the settings

Step 3: Choose which list you want to subscribe people to
We use a ‘Jetpack CRM’ list and then as soon as we have a new customer or lead added to the list they’ll start receiving our email automations. This is a great way to onboard your CRM users and send them targeted communications.

This is a super simple integration to start adding your Jetpack CRM customers to your MailChimp list. It’s important to consider double opt ins for people who you add via the API 🙂
